Eind 2014 zal een nieuwe vestiging van Dimence (biedt geestelijke gezondheidszorg) worden opgeleverd in
Almelo. Het interieurontwerp is gemaakt door Studio Groen+Schild uit
Deventer. Voor veel mensen zal dit gebouw straks een (tijdelijk) nieuw
'huis' zijn waarin zij een intense en ingrijpende persoonlijke weg
zullen bewandelen samen met de therapeuten en behandelaren van de
instelling. Er is gekozen voor het concept 'storytelling building'. Ik
ben één van de 7 illustratoren/tekenaars en 1 schrijfster die werkt aan
deze mooie en bijzondere opdracht. De thema’s van het verhaal zijn
gedestilleerd tijdens een workshop met medewerkers en cliënten van
Dimence. De illustraties & teksten worden straks geïntegreerd in het
interieur.
At the end of 2014 there will be delivered a new building for the organization 'Dimence', who offers mental health services, in Almelo. The interior design is created by Studio Groen + Schild from Deventer. For many people this will be a temporarily new 'House' in which they will pursue an intense and profound personal path along with the therapists and treating physicians of the institution. There is chosen for the concept 'storytelling building'. I am one of the 7 illustrators/cartoonists and 1 writer who is working on this beautiful and unusual assignment. The themes of the story are distilled at a workshop with employees and clients of Dimence. The illustrations will be integrated into the Interior.
